Grades?!?!?! Good or Bad?

Heey guys!!

Firstly I just want to give my apologies for my disappearance... As you all know, I am in my first year of college and i'm not going to lie, it is very stressful. The jump between GCSE and A-Level is very dramatic and I just haven't had time to sit down and make a video or blog post (I will upload another post about my youtube). The workload basically got too much and I just spend every evening getting on top of it all, and now I finally am, I am going to try and level everything out - time will soon tell hey ;)

So about my grades!!! I was extremely happy with my grades, they aren't A's and A*'s, but for me, what I achieved I am very happy with and I know I worked and tried to the best of my abilities and that's all I could have done. So here are my GCSE grades:

Maths - C
English Literature - B
English Language - C
Italian - B
RE - B
BTEC Science - Merit (B)
Art - B
Food Tec - A
History - D (This really frustrated me because in one exam I got a C, in my course work I got a C and in the second exam I got a D which lowered my grade!!)

So there they are! My GCSE grades!! For all the students in year 10 - keep your head down, I know it sounds a long time (2 years) until your exams, but honestly time flies so quickly and before you know it you will be sat in the hall taking the papers. Just revise and try your best and I know you will do amazingly!!

And to the year 11's, GOOD LUCK!!! I know it's scary and I know that right now you are stressing the hell out, but keep going! Revise as much as you can because I guarantee you that it will be worth it! And just think, in a few months it will be all over and you can enjoy your summer holiday chilling out without worrying about the heavy workload like everyone else!! ;)

Good luck everyone, I know you will smash it xx

Love you lots,
Thank you for reading my blog,

The Best Night of my Life

Hey guys!

Last month I had my prom which was honestly the best night of my life!! I have a few photos to share with you and I hope you enjoy it :)

I first started off with taking photos with my family because I knew I wouldn't have any time at prom. My phone has broken, so I haven't managed to upload all of the photos.

Then my parents drove me to my friends house to take more pictures before the limo picked us up to take us to the venue.

And then finally, after prom we had a party which was insane!!

I hope you enjoyed these few pictures! Prom, even though I was super nervous and stressed out about what people would think, prom was the best night of my life and if I could, I would do it all over again! Prom is amazing, and you'll love it <3

Thank you for reading my blog,

Love you lots!

LIFE

Hello!!

For this post, I have nothing specific to talk to you about, but I thought it would be nice to just sit down and write about whatever comes to mind first.

Okay, so today I went shopping with my birthday money!! Yes, I would consider myself a shopaholic ;) I didn't have much money due to getting a laptop, but that didn't stop me! I went to town and bought my boyfriends birthday present. Omg, shopping for boys is so dam hard! He showed me some tops he liked so I ordered them for him and it came to around £40 and I thought that was a nice amount to spend :) My birthday is 3 days before his, so I got my present yesterday. He spent over £70 on me so I needed something else but wasn't sure on what! I messaged his best mate asking for any suggestions and he suggested a aftershave which I bought for him today! I can't say what its called just in case he sees this but it came to around £7/575 Then I just bought him a card :)

I then had to buy a clutch for my prom on Friday! Eeeek!! I am so excited, but at the same time so nervous! I'm getting my spray tan today, so my next post could be my experience with getting one? Anyway, I didn't want to spend an ecsessive amount on one as it wasn't going to be in my photo's, it was just there to store my phone and money ect. I went to a charity shop and bought a navy one to match my dress for just £9, opposed to the £100 Ted Baker ones!!

I then went to Primark and bought a handful of tops, a cardigan and a pair of shorts which are super soft!!

Blue top - £3

White Top with Flower cut outs - £6
Cardigan - £10
Burganday top - £4
Black top - £4
Grey top - £4
Off the shoulder grey top - £6
Stripy halterneck top - £3.50
Shorts - £2.50
Pants - £1-1.75
Bra - £6

Then from Newlook I bought a top on sale for £3!

I hope you liked this type of blog post, thank you for reading it :)

Love you lots!

June Favourites 2k15

Hello!!

Today I am going to be doing a post on my June favourites, i'm sure that you've heard me rant about a few of these products before, but i'm not going to show you something i'm really not loving ad if it happens to be something that I have loved in previous posts the that's what i'll show you! Anyway, lets get to it!

Beauty Favourites

Firstly, I've really been loving the MUA matte shine duo! It has a beautiful rosey pink colour lipstick which is matte so I love that! Then at the other end is a matte lipgloss which i'm not so keen on as  don't tend to wear lipglosses, however I absolutley love the lipstick. I wear it practically everyday and i've been complimented on it on various occasions. What I ike about this product is that it makes my teeth look white! Even though I love wearing red lipsticks, i'm always paranoid if why teeth look yellow, however with this product, I go out feeling super confident!

You can purchase this product here

I have also been loving my Rimmel London Brow this Way eyebrow gel! There's not much to say about this product; however I would recommend this for begginers because when I went to the spoke, I spoke to one of the shop assistants and she said that as I was just starting to do my eyebrows ten she would recommend this and since i've started using this I will never use a brow pencil! Its so easy to apply and you don't have to worry about them being too dark because as long as you match your eyebrows to the correct shade you'll be fine!

You can purchase this gel here

Shoes

Yes I know these are fake, rip of vans, however when I bought them I didn't realise and I think they're pretty cute so I'm going to wear them :) I bought these from Newlook for £13 a while ago, however i've only recently sTarted to wear them. I think they look cute with any outfit due to them being slip-ons! I usually wear them a skirt or jeans when i'm out and I think the outfit just looks slightly more girly than wearing high tops or trainers.

Scent of this month

THIS PERFUME IS INSANE GUYS!!! I got given this from my boyfriend for my birthday. I had never heard of it before, but it it amazing! It's not a sweet, sickly scent, but a musky type of smell; I really recommend people to buy this if you are less into sweet, fruity scents as this is still girlie, just not as sweet!

You can purchase this here

Food

It's been super hot at the moment in England, so I haven't really been wanting to have a hot breakfast or toast. My mum started to buy these Muller Light Greek Syle yogurts which come in a large range of flavours! They are low in calories but are still full of flavour!

Randoms

I really like these sunglasses! They were literally £3 from Primark, so I know they won't last very long but I like they way they aren't huge so they don't swamp my head and they look really sassy and delicate! Primark sell tonnes of pretty sunglasses, so if you're looking for some pop in there!

Strapless bras have been a must have so far in summer! Gypsie tops have been a major thing in at the moment and I don't really like them when you can see girls bra straps so when I bought a handful of  strapless bras I thought I was n heaven haha ;) There's many different styles of strapless bras, so if you have a larger chest area and need more support, there're ones for you, and if you have a smaller chest area, there are bandoos which work in the exact same way!

And then finally sports bras! I used to not wear a bra to bed for many years and my boobs started to really hurt so I went on the trusty internet and had a look at people opinions on whether to wear a bra to ed or not. Lots of people were saying yes as it gives you support, so the next day I tried it, but I just couln't get to sleep due to the under-wireing digging in. It was just uncomfortable. I was talking to my friends and they said to try sleeping in sports bra, and ever since every night I sleep in one! They are super comfortable and you can get them super cheap from places like Primark or Newlook!!

So that's my June Favourites, I hope you enjoyed it :)

Love you loads,

Laura x

Smashbox Primer Set | Review

Hello my lovelies!

Okay, so I recently got the mini Smashbox primers, one is a base layer for foundation, one is a base layer for eye shadow and the last one is a base layer for concealer.

The primers do exactly what it says on the packet! My skin feels so soft and flawless and as a benefit they have SPF15 which amazing and the demaxyl comples is specific to target fine lines. My make up lasts all day even it hot, humid weather conditions and my pores are completely minimized! It is brilliant for money as 1 or 2 squeezes is all that is needed.

The primers create a perfect canvas for which ever product you use. What I like about this product it that it feels silky on the skin and doesn't feel heavy like some primers i've tried do.

The primers increase longevity and gives your makeup a flawless look, not cakey. It makes your skin feel super soft and is oil free so it doesn't make your face sweat.

You can purchase the set here

I hope you enjoyed my post,

Love you guys!

Barry M | Natural Glow Shadow & Primer Palette 2 Review

Hello my lovelies, how are we?

Last year for my 15th birthday I got given this Barry M Palette and at the time I wasn't really into make up so although I was very grateful, I just left it in my draw until recently. Around Christmas time, I started wearing eye shadow and remember about this palette so I started to experiment!

I love this palette! There are three matte colours and three shimmery colours to suit different peoples preference. Personally I like to use the shimmery colours on my eye; I use the lightest colour for the base, the second one going over half of my eyelid and then the darkest colour in my crease.

The palette comes with a primer which you apply to your eye lid before using the eye shadow. What this does it enhance the pigmentation of the eye shadow. At first i didn't really think much about it, until I saw a video on youtube and they used it and it actually worked!!

The palette also comes with a nice size mirror so you can actually see what you're doing ;)

To improve this product I would put a white in it instead of the cream to put near the tearduct to show the eye being bright and healthy! I tried using the cream but it didn't work as well as a white so I resulted to using a MAC product.

The price it £6.49 from amazon and you can purchase it here!!

Thank you for reading my blog, I hope you enjoyed it :)

Love you lots!
